Disc Design & Data (DDD) was founded in 1978 as a custom software development firm.  By 1983 DDD was specializing in software development for the seafood distribution and processing industry.

The first version of FISHMONGER™ was completed in 1983 for one of the largest seafood companies in Chicago, IL.  A nationwide marketing plan was implemented in 1986.  Numerous upgrades and enhancements have made FISHMONGER™ the industry leader in seafood software systems.

FISHMONGER™ continues to grow more powerful and rich with features as computer technology evolves.  Today dozens of successful seafood companies have implemented FISHMONGER™ seafood software.
